Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to lead solution-level testing efforts, architect end-to-end test automation suites, and validate integrated cloud/on-prem networking workflows. In this role, you will combine strong software coding skills, deep networking domain knowledge, and GenAI capabilities to drive scalable, automated quality engineering for the Cisco IQ platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement robust, maintainable E2E UI, API, and integration test automation frameworks from scratch.
Lead test planning, scenario modeling, and complex defect triage for integrated solutions involving Cisco hardware, cloud services (AWS), and web portals.
Embed AI [agentic, no-code AI tools, LLM-assisted generation] into test automation pipelines to generate script coverage, maintain test artifacts, and accelerate regression runs.
Simulate real-world enterprise network topologies to test L2/L3 protocol behaviors, data fabric pipelines, and controller/controller-less network flows.
Drive CI/CD quality gate integration, defect governance, and technical mentoring for mid-level software test engineers.
