About the position




The Specialty Operations Biodiesel and Renewable Diesel (BD/RD) Process Monitoring and Optimization Engineer is a member of the Facilities Process Engineering organization within Chevron ENGINE. This role provides process monitoring, optimization, and technical assurance support focused on biodiesel and renewable diesel process units, including feedstock handling, reaction systems, separation, treating, product upgrading, and utilities interfaces. The engineer plays a critical role in supporting safe, reliable, and productive production of renewable fuels through proactive monitoring, analysis, and optimization of complex process systems.

Engineers will work closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Digital, Control Systems, Maintenance, and Environmental teams to deliver work priorities including routine process monitoring, yield and energy optimization, operating envelope assurance, data quality validation, and engineering analysis.
