The (IND) Senior Software Engineer will lead the development and delivery of scalable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement features, APIs, and AI/ML integrations. About the team:
The Walmart U.S. Tech team develops reusable technologies that enhance customer acquisition, merchant onboarding, and seamless experiences across in-store, mobile, and web channels. Focused on affordability and personalization, the team designs, develops, and operates large-scale data systems handling petabytes of information.



Key areas include real-time indexing, web crawling, streaming analytics, and distributed machine learning infrastructure. Collaborating across multiple teams, they deliver scalable, robust technical solutions that align with Walmart’s commitment to Everyday Low Cost, driving innovation and operational excellence in software engineering.

What you'll do:
Own the delivery of scoped features and models through collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system goals.
Develop, test, and maintain clean, efficient code across multiple programming languages, supporting full software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
Integrate AI/ML components and leverage GenAI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
