As Senior Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing,



and implementation of Cepheid next generation software products.
This position is part of the R&D; Department and will be located in Bangalore, IDC, India. This position reports to the Engineering Manager, R&D; and will be an onsite role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and maintain molecular diagnostics application software using Java and Angular frameworks
Implement automated testing strategies across unit, component, and system levels using industry-standard tools
Execute software development projects using Agile lean methodologies with defined sprint deliverables and velocity metrics
Perform formal design reviews and generate detailed design documentation aligned with regulated software development standards
Interface with firmware, hardware, software quality, and technical support teams to ensure integrated system functionality in diagnostics platforms
