Key Objective of the Job Position

The Resident Construction Manager (RCM) serves as the primary site authority responsible for leading, managing, and executing the entire construction phase of major onshore Oil & Gas EPC projects (such as Gathering Stations, Refineries, Gas Processing Plants, or Tank Farms).
The RCM ensures the project is successfully delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and meeting all contractual quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities 01
HSE & Quality Leadership

Zero-Harm Culture: Champion and enforce stringent Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, leading by example and ensuring full compliance with local regulations and project-specific safety guidelines.
Quality Assurance:



Oversee the implementation of the Project Quality Plan, ensuring all construction activities comply with engineering drawings, specifications, and international oil & gas codes (API, ASME, ANSI, etc.).

Site Execution & Project Management

Overall Site Leadership: Direct all site-based construction operations, management teams, subcontractors, and vendors from mobilization through construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and handover.
Schedule & Milestone Management: Collaborate closely with the Project Planning/Scheduling team to monitor day-to-day progress, identify bottlenecks, and execute recovery plans to maintain critical path schedules.

Cost Optimization: Monitor site-level expenditures, control indirect costs, and minimize rework or waste to safeguard profit margins under Lump-Sum Turnkey (LSTK) contract constraints.
