We are seeking a Linux Administrator to manage daily server build and uplift requirements, including troubleshooting for physical and virtual server builds within the DCOPS-Compute function. The role is based at SP Infocity, Pune, and supports Infrastructure Build Services with a focus on Linux administration, operating system installation, upgrades, migration, patching, rollback and operational issue resolution.What you’ll do
Manage Linux server build and uplift activities for physical and virtual server environments.
Install operating system software in line with the appropriate version, release and patch level.
Support operating system upgrades, migrations and rollback of OS or kernel versions.
Perform Linux user and group management activities.
Create and manage file systems in Linux, including LVM, NAS and SAN-related environments.
Apply knowledge of the Linux boot process, RPM package installat
