Job Description for S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect/SME

Summary & Role Information:

SAP S/4HANA Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) drives end-to-end implementation and optimization of financial processes (GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Group Reporting) using SAP best practices and Fiori apps. This role requires 12+ years of experience, including multiple full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, Brownfield, Greenfield and SDT approaches, strong configuration skills, and expertise in universal journal (ACDOCA) and SAP Activate methodology.

Work Experience:

- Solution Design & Architecture:
- Define target operating models, future-state architecture, and business transformation roadmaps, acting as a trusted advisor
- Should have experience in building end-to-end response for proactive and reactive customer requirement for S/4HANA Transformation.

- Configuration & Implementation:

- Strong experience in implementing SAP Finance and Controlling modules such as GL, AP, AR, AA banking, cost centre accounting, profit centre accounting, profitability analysis and product costing.
- Sound working knowledge in system conversion projects (brownfield) from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, fixing finance inconsistencies and errors in S/4HANA conversion projects
- Deep knowledge of Current Asset Accounting, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Group Reporting, and FSCM.
- Sound working knowledge of implementation,



configuration and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Central Finance systems including the handling of data mapping, SLT replication and master data harmonization.
- Should have a minimum 3 S/4HANA transformation project experience and minimum 2 Application support project experience.
- Should have experience in S/4HANA Rise and Public Cloud Implementation with experience in deploying Business AI.

- Project Leadership:

- Manage project phases (blueprint, design, test, go-live) using SAP Activate methodology.

- Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to map requirements to standard SAP solutions, minimizing custom developments.

- Mentorship:

- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership.

Education, Skills and Competencies

- The ideal candidate will have at minimum a bachelors degree in commerce with any post-graduation degree in Accountancy (Chartered Accountancy, Cost & Management Accountancy, Chartered financial Analyst, MCom or MBA finance) preferably with an SAP Certification.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Should have proficiency in SAP AI and Business AI
- Should have certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of customers and management, both internal and external.
