Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified and empathetic Speech Therapist with experience in Feeding Therapy to join us for providing at-home therapy sessions in the above location. This is a adaptable, contract-based role with session schedules coordinated based on your availability and the family’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one speech and feeding therapy sessions in the client’s home
Conduct assessments and design individualized therapy plans
Develop engaging, age-appropriate activities to support speech, language, and oral-motor function, including swallowing safety and sensory-based feeding
Maintain accurate session notes and provide regular updates to the Carely team
Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child’s care, when required
Guide and support families in continuing therapy techniques at home
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
At least 1 year of experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities, specifically including pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders
Knowledge of oral-motor techniques, sensory-integrated feeding approaches (e.g., SOS or Get Permission), and aspiration risk management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
Warm, respectful, and professional approach to working with families
Compensation:
Per-session rate (to be discussed based on experience and availability)
