Responsibilities:
managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects by preparing, verifying, and certifying client and contractor bills. Key duties include measuring onsite work, preparing Running Account (RA) bills, performing rate analysis, and reconciling materials to control costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Certification: Preparing and processing client (invoices) and subcontractor bills (RA bills) based on site progress, ensuring timely submission and certification.
- Quantity & Measurement: Taking onsite measurements, preparing, and verifying quantity sheets based on drawings and site data.
- Cost Control & Estimation:
Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), conducting rate analysis, and creating reconciliation statements for materials (e.g., steel, cement) to minimize waste and unauthorized consumption.
- Contract Management: Reviewing tender documents, interpreting contract terms, and handling extra/non-tender item approvals.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of work progress, updating ERP systems (like SAP), and generating monthly MIS reports.
- Coordination: Acting as a liaison between site engineers, contractors, and the accounts department to resolve discrepancies and secure payments.
