As a Diamond Jewelry Grader Gemologist, you will be responsible for examining, evaluating, and grading diamonds and other gemstones used in jewelry. You will use your expertise in gemology to assess the quality, authenticity, and value of these precious stones. Your role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and quality of our jewelry products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diamond and Gemstone Grading:
- Accurately grade diamonds and gemstones based on the 4Cs: carat weight, color, clarity, and cut.
- Use specialized equipment such as microscopes, refractometers, and polariscopes to assess the quality and authenticity of stones.
- Identify and document any imperfections, inclusions, or treatments in the stones.
- Prepare detailed grading reports and certificates.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control standards for diamond and gemstone sourcing, grading, and setting.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that the gemstones meet our high-quality standards.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in gemology to stay updated on the latest grading techniques and standards.
