- About The Role The org study

everything we publish is analytically sound- and who genuinely
understands India's employment debates. What You'll Do Keep our
methodology defensible- indicator selection, weighting, how we
aggregate data Track and engage with core debates: services vs
manufacturing, AI and jobs, skills mismatch, informalization Work
with government databases — PLFS, Census, ASI, ASUSE Write policy
explainers and commentary grounded in data Write Python/R/Stata
scripts to generate and update our YouthPOWER index scores Ask the
hard question on every output: "Can we actually say this based on
our data?" Who You Are PhD or strong Masters in Economics
(development or labour preferred) You know India's employment
landscape — not just from papers but from data You've worked with
Indian administrative data and know its limitations You code
cleanly and make defensible choices with messy data You can
translate rigorous analysis into something a policymaker can read
Good to Have Familiarity with district-level governance and pilots
Experience with global youth development frameworks or capability
