JOB PURPOSE Maintain consistent communication with your managers by providing daily or weekly updates in the prescribed reporting format. Conduct one‑on‑one discussions as needed for training support, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth functioning of peer review websites for each assigned journal. Supervise a team of 5–7 members , overseeing the end‑to‑end peer review process for Sage journals—from manuscript submission to exporting files to Sage Production—using Sage Track, STS , and Sage’s online peer review systems. Demonstrate solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with maturity, professionalism, and calmness. Build and maintain high‑quality communication and strong working relationships with journal editors, associate editors (where applicable), authors, reviewers, and other Sage staff. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Manage and maintain the administrative workflow for designated Sage journals through Sage Track sites.
Maintain effective professional relationships and high‑quality communication with journal editors, authors, reviewers, and Sage staff across global locations. Collaborate with colleagues across Sage US and Sage UK offices—including editorial, marketing, production, and other functions—to maximize the effective use of Sage Track sites and contribute to the growth and progression of assigned journals. Conduct video/audio conference calls with US and UK colleagues as required, including after standard office hours. Maintain strong editorial knowledge and system proficiency. Support and uphold the organization’s hybrid work model.
