About the Role - LUMIQ is seeking an AWS FinOps Analyst to lead cloud financial management and cost optimization initiatives across LUMIQs internal AWS environments and client AWS accounts . The role is critical in enabling cost transparency, governance, and value realization while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS billing, pricing, and cost optimization services , and will work closely with engineering, DevOps, platform, and client teams to embed FinOps best practices into AWS architectures and delivery models . Key Responsibilities :- AWS Cost Management & Optimization - Own end-to-end AWS cost monitoring and optimization for LUMIQ and client AWS accounts . Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives using: EC2 rightsizing and Graviton adoption Savings Plans and Reserved Instances optimization Spot Instances for fault-tolerant workloads S3 storage class optimization and lifecycle policies RDS, Redshift, and DynamoDB cost tuning Optimize costs across data, analytics, and AI/ML workloads running on AWS.



AWS FinOps Governance & Reporting - Define and enforce AWS tagging strategies , cost allocation models, and account structures. Build and manage chargeback / showback models for internal teams and clients. Prepare monthly AWS cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis for leadership and client stakeholders. Set up and manage AWS Budgets, Cost Anomaly Detection, and alerts . Stakeholder & Client Collaboration - Partner with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to influence cost-effective AWS architecture decisions. Support client-facing discussions by providing AWS cost insights, optimization roadmaps, and ROI-driven recommendations. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on AWS pricing models and FinOps best practices .
