Who are we looking for

The Product organization is recruiting an Assistant Vice President - Data Product Development to support the Data Management Lead on a global basis. This role focuses on shaping and delivering Fund Accounting data products and capabilities, working in close partnership with Product, Finance, Operations, Technology, Architecture, Actuarial (where applicable), and Enterprise Data teams.

The role has accountability across:
- Core Fund Accounting data domains (positions, lots, transactions, valuations, income, corporate actions, accruals, postings)
- Financial close, sub-ledger to GL reconciliation, and control frameworks
- Client and enterprise data delivery channels (APIs, reports, finance dashboards)
- Logical and canonical data models aligned to accounting and operating models
- Cloud-native data platforms and analytics capabilities
- Evolution from statutory and management reporting toward insight-driven finance use cases





This role supports the objective to strengthen State Street's Finance and Asset Servicing proposition through a practical, data-driven operating model. The AVP is expected to combine solid product judgement with hands-on delivery leadership, influencing outcomes through collaboration rather than hierarchy.

What we do

As a data and product practitioner, you will work with Fund Accounting leads to help define priorities and execute the data agenda described above. The role reports into the Head of Data, Product Development.

You will contribute to the evolution of accounting data capabilities by incorporating regulatory requirements, industry standards, and stakeholder input from Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Coverage. The role balances strategic thinking with a strong delivery mindset.

What you will be responsible for

- Leading a project in support delivery of the Fund Accounting product roadmap, working in collaboration with Fund Account
