Sunjog Veterinary Diagnostics, the dedicated diagnostic laboratory of Seven Oaks Pet Hospital, is expanding its diagnostic services and invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation and reporting of veterinary diagnostic samples.
- Haematology, clinical pathology, cytology and biochemical investigations.
- Cytological examination and interpretation of FNAC and other clinical samples.
- Histopathology and tissue sample evaluation.
- Review and validation of laboratory reports.
- Correlation of laboratory findings with clinical cases in consultation with veterinarians.
- Maintaining quality standards, documentation and laboratory protocols.
- Participation in development of current diagnostic services and test panels.
- Supporting clinical veterinarians with diagnostic interpretation and case discussions.
Preferred Qualification:
- BVSc & AH with MVSc/PG qualification in Veterinary Pathology or Clinical Pathology.
- Candidates with relevant diagnostic laboratory experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and interpretation of veterinary microbiological samples.
- Bacterial and fungal culture and identification.
- Antibiotic susceptibility testing.
- Microbiological examination of clinical samples including blood, urine, faeces, skin, ear, wound and other relevant specimens.
- Supporting diagnostic investigations for infectious diseases.
- Maintaining laboratory biosafety, quality control and standard operating procedures.
- Maintaining proper sample handling, processing and documentation.
