Jindal Power Limited is looking for a Maintenance Planning professional to join the Technical Services team at its Jhajjar Power Plant.

The role will be responsible for short-term and long-term maintenance planning in a thermal power plant, with a strong focus on equipment maintenance, job planning, scheduling, reporting and maintenance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage short-term and long-term maintenance plans for thermal power plant equipment.
- Develop detailed understanding of plant equipment, equipment functions and thermal cycles.
- Plan and schedule preventive and maintenance activities for plant equipment.
- Prepare job plans, work schedules and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for effective execution of planned maintenance activities.
- Prepare MIS, management reports and presentations for senior management.
- Monitor maintenance activities and provide timely reports on progress and performance.
- Handle MS Projects and project planning activities.




- Conduct work failure analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support overhauling planning, budgeting and management.
- Analyse maintenance requirements and ensure optimum planning of resources and activities.
- Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure timely completion of maintenance plans.

Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 67 years of relevant experience, preferably in a thermal power plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Good understanding of thermal power plant equipment, its functions and maintenance requirements.
- Hands-on knowledge of MS Project and project planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform work failure analysis.
- Experience in overhauling planning, budgeting and management will be preferred.
- Positive proficiency in MIS, reporting and management presentations.
- Strong coordination, planning and execution skills.
