Trade Finance Quality Audit (QA) – Newgen Software
Role Overview:
 Focused on ensuring the quality, compliance, and reliability of trade
finance solutions built on Newgen’s platform.
 Involves testing, auditing, and validating trade finance workflows (letters of
credit, guarantees, collections, supply chain finance).
 Supports implementation projects by ensuring that delivered solutions meet
both business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
 Conduct functional, performance, and security testing of trade finance
applications.
 Audit trade finance processes to ensure compliance with international
banking standards and AML/KYC regulations.




 Validate documentation and transaction flows (e.g., bills of lading, invoices,
LC issuance).
 Identify defects, log issues, and track resolutions to closure.
 Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to
ensure requirements are met.
 Provide quality assurance sign-off before deployment and client
onboarding.
Skills & Experience
 2-4 years of experience in QA/testing within trade finance or banking
applications.
 Solid knowledge of trade finance products (letters of credit, guarantees,
collections).
 Familiarity with QA methodologies, defect tracking tools, and automation
frameworks.
 Understanding of compliance requirements (AML, sanctions, Basel
guidelines).
