*Job Description INWARD Executive*

Position Summary

The INWARD Executive is responsible for managing all inward activities related to Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and other incoming goods. The role ensures timely unloading, verification, documentation, storage, inventory accuracy, and coordination with internal teams to maintain uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inward Material Management
- Supervise unloading activities for all incoming materials at the inward point.
- Ensure timely receipt of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and consumables as per schedule.
- Verify received quantities against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and invoices.
- Coordinate with QC and Stores teams for material inspection and release.
- Ensure segregation and proper identification of approved, rejected, and hold materials.

2. Documentation & System Management
- Prepare and complete GRN (Goods Receipt Note) accurately and on time.
- Maintain inward registers and inventory records in ERP/Excel.




- Ensure all inward documents are properly filed and available for audits.
- Track pending GRNs and close documentation within defined timelines.

3. Inventory & Storage Control
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed during storage and issuance.
- Monitor storage conditions and maintain housekeeping standards in inward and storage areas.
- Ensure materials are stored in designated locations with proper labeling.
- Support cycle counting and stock verification activities.

4. Team Handling & Coordination
- Manage inward manpower and allocate daily work activities.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, QC, and transport vendors for smooth operations.
- Ensure vehicle unloading plans are executed efficiently to avoid delays.
- Monitor manpower productivity and adherence to safety practices.

5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with GMP, 5S, safety, and company SOPs.
