Location: Pune or Kolhapur (home-based) extensive field travel
Territory: Maharashtra and North Karnataka including the BallariHospet–Koppal belt (JSW Vijayanagar, Kalyani Steels, Kirloskar Ferrous), Bhadravati, the Jalna and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar induction-furnace and TMT cluster, Dolvi, Taloja and Khopoli, the Kolhapur–Sangli–Belagavi foundry belt, and the Vidarbha plants at Wardha, Chandrapur, Bhandara and Nagpur
Travel: Approximately 15–20 days per month, on plant sites
Reports to: Head of Sales
Experience: 3–5 years in capital equipment sales, specifically within the steel or heavy industrial sector
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (MBA an advantage)

About the Role
This is a hands-on, field-first sales role. You will spend most of your month inside steel plants — walking shop floors, meeting maintenance and refractory teams, watching relining cycles, and translating what you see into the right machine configuration.
We sell direct to plants. There are no dealers, channel partners or contractors in between, which means you own the account from first visit to purchase order. The person who does well here is mechanically curious, comfortable in a hot and dusty converter shop, and disciplined enough to run their own territory without daily supervision.
