Key Position Details
- Role Title: Intercompany Accountant
- Work Location: Pune (Work from Office)
- Target Experience: 1-3 years of core Intercompany / AP Accounting experience

Primary Responsibilities
- Daily Operations (50%): Execute intercompany invoice processing, 3-way PO matching, free-text invoicing, and daily intercompany ledger reconciliation in accordance with company policies and GBS standard operating procedures.
- Month-End Close (20%): Perform month-end closing procedures, prepare journal entries, and support intercompany balance eliminations and internal controls.
- Stakeholder Coordination (10%): Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Care, Logistics, Local Finance, and Assistant Finance Managers (AFMs) to resolve unmatched, disputed, or overdue intercompany invoices.
- Audit Compliance (10%): Provide supporting schedules and documentation for internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Projects Process Support (10%): Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, ad-hoc financial reporting,



and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ERP system enhancements/releases.

Technical Functional Requirements
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Functional Knowledge: 1-3 years of accounting experience focused on intercompany invoicing, accounts payable, PO matching, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Systems Tools: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data matching).
- Process Discipline: Familiarity with Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services workflows, standard internal controls, and operational KPIs.
