- Help the lead teacher design and prepare daily lesson plans or learning aids.
- Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce concepts.
- Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom safety rules.
- Supervise children during lunch, recess, and school field trips.
- Assist with administrative duties like grading assignments, taking attendance, and updating records.
- Support students with special needs or individual education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma required; many positions prefer associate/bachelor degrees or early childhood education credits.
