Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations Maintenance (OM) Engineer for our solar power plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising preventive and breakdown maintenance, coordinating with OEMs, managing plant operations, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of solar power systems and the ability to analyze and improve plant performance.
Key Roles Responsibilities:
- Supervise and verify preventive maintenance schedules for solar plant equipment including solar modules and inverters.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and rectification of inverters, strings, and defective modules.
- Oversee and respond to breakdown maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs for spare parts, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), warranty claims, and service requests.
- Manage and oversee vendor contracts related to plant operations and services.
- Verify module cleaning activities are performed as per schedule.
- Monitor and verify Joint Meter Reading (JMR) processes.
- Ensure smooth handover and takeover of projects in line with defined scopes, protocols, and procedures.
- Maintain and update a list of plant issues and coordinate resolution with engineering, contracts, and accounts teams.
- Liaise with local communities, contractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations and relations.
- Manage spare parts inventory, manpower allocation, and budget planning.
- Conduct energy audits and implement actions to reduce power loss.
