Job Description
JOB Title
Machine Shop (CNC) Engineer - Technical leader, responsible for the safe, effective, and high-quality production on their assigned shift. Serve as the primary point of contact for their team and is the bridge between the shop floor and management. Should have hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership, and effective communication skills to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure achievement of daily,
Weekly and monthly production targets.
- Maintain on time delivery of components as per plan.
- Maintain daily shift efficiency as per the TQM objectives.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per quality standards.
- Reduce rejection rates and implement corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
- Reduce the rework hours.
- Inspections and Quality Checks.
- Troubleshooting and Defect Analysis
- Adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Communication and Reporting of NCs
- Improve overall components Effectiveness and productivity.
- Optimize machine utilization and cycle times.
