Roles & Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities
- Assist in undergraduate (MBBS) teaching as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, practical sessions, and small-group discussions.
- Guide MBBS students during community postings, field visits, and research activities.
- Participate in internal assessments, examinations, and evaluation of students.
- Develop teaching-learning materials and academic presentations.

Clinical & Public Health Responsibilities
- Participate in activities of Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC) and Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC).
- Conduct community diagnosis, health surveys, epidemiological investigations, and screening programs.
- Assist in implementation of national health programs and public health initiatives.
- Provide preventive, promotive, and basic curative healthcare services during field postings.
- Participate in outbreak investigations and public health emergency responses when required.

Research Responsibilities
- Assist in departmental research projects and publications.




- Participate in data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation.
- Present scientific papers/posters in conferences, CMEs, and workshops.
- Promote evidence-based public health practices.

Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain departmental records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in preparation of reports for NMC inspections and accreditation activities.
- Coordinate health camps, awareness programs, and outreach activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, CMEs, seminars, and workshops.

Other Responsibilities
- Perform duties assigned by the Head of Department and institutional authorities.
- Adhere to institutional policies, ethical guidelines, and qualified standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and institutional committees as assigned.
