1. Role Summary

Builds and extends Dynamics 365 CE solutions using tools (C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Power Platform SDK) where low code/config alone can't meet the requirement.

Owns technical design for plugins, integrations, and custom UI components; participates in ALM/DevOps for the platform.

2. Core Responsibilities

A. Extend the Platform

Develop plugins, custom workflow activities, and custom APIs

(C#, Dataverse SDK)
- Build client-side scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript) for forms, ribbons, business rules beyond OOB capability
- Develop PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls for custom UX

B. Integrate
- Build integrations via Web API (REST/OData), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus
- Handle data migration/sync (SSIS + Kingswaysoft, or Azure Data Factory)
- Design authentication patterns (OAuth, service principals) for external system connections C. Application Lifecycle Management
- Manage solutions, source control (Azure DevOps/GitHub), and CI/CD pipelines for Dataverse deployments
- Workplace strategy (dev/test/UAT/prod), managed vs.

- Performance troubleshooting (plugin trace logs, throttling, query optimization)

3. Required Technical Skills (must-have)

Languages C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML

4. Nice-to-Have

5. Certification

• PL-400 (Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate) preferred, not mandatory.
