Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and admissions. The candidate should have strong communication, counselling, and follow-up skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents based on their academic and career goals.
- Explain courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.
- Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Handle difficult queries and provide suitable solutions.
- Coordinate with the academic and admission teams.
- Support and guide junior counsellors when required.
- Prepare regular reports on counselling activities and conversions.
- Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, or admissions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust convincing and negotiation skills.
- Good command of English and Hindi.
- Target-oriented and confident personality.
- Basic knowledge of CRM/MS Office preferred.
