Les Amis Café | Gelateria | Pâtisserie is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our café team and deliver consistently high-quality beverages and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other café beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
- Ensure consistency in the taste, quality, presentation, and temperature of beverages.
- Maintain proper mise en place and ensure all bar ingredients and supplies are readily available.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and equipment.
- Handle customer orders professionally and provide a positive customer experience.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about replenishment requirements.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams for smooth café operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, hotel, or similar F&B; environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-making techniques.
- Familiarity with espresso machines, grinders, and basic bar equipment.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
