Key Responsibilities
Manage excellence in the General Assy team
Deliver feasibility support to ensure design meetsmanufacturing processes from a part to vehicle level through the various stages
Take responsibility to mentor, train and develop the AMECteam
Awareness of market trends and developments in order toinfluence and manage the future development of the team
Providing appropriate support and guidance to engineeringteams
Work with other departments and functions as required
Coordinate digital build for General assembly
Key result measures / metrices
Deliver General assembly sequence
Deliver general assembly process
Deliver fixing feasibility
Deliver tooloing feasibility
Deliver part and assembly GD&T; plan

Key Skills
Knowledge of mixed material structures Steel, Aluminium
Knowledge of Body assembly method (RSW, SPRs, FDSs, CMTWelding, Mono-Bolts, Adhesives etc)
Knowledge of assembly processes applicable to low and tohigh volume manufacture
Knowledge of GD&T;
Knowledge of Catia V5
