Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning and Execution:
- Source and procure chemical raw materials and packaging materials as per production requirements.
- Develop and maintain an effective procurement plan aligned with the company's objectives and budget.
- Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Maintain robust relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor networks.
- Conduct periodic vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Inventory and Cost Control:
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials and packaging materials to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring uninterrupted production.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated with market trends, pricing dynamics, and the availability of raw materials.
- Benchmark supplier pricing and negotiate effectively for cost savings.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approvals and execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier performance.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure timely delivery of materials that meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with finance for payment processing and budgetary control.
Skills and Qualifications:
