Role & responsibilities
- Implement and monitor site safety policies, procedures, and EHS standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, harnesses, gloves, goggles, etc.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness programs.
- Monitor work at height, scaffolding, lifting operations, excavation, electrical works, hot works, and other high-risk activities.
- Ensure proper installation and maintenance of safety barricades, signage, access routes, and warning systems.
- Verify scaffolding, ladders, lifting equipment, and other safety-critical equipment before use.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and checklists.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents and prepare corrective/preventive action reports.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and workers to resolve safety issues.




- Ensure subcontractors comply with project safety requirements.
- Conduct emergency preparedness drills and ensure availability of fire extinguishers and first-aid facilities.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, permits, and training records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian safety regulations and project-specific EHS requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / B.Tech in Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- 37 years of relevant construction site safety experience.
- NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent safety certification is Mandatotary
- Candidates with experience in commercial buildings or civil construction will be preferred
- Knowledge of PPE, work-at-height safety, scaffolding, lifting operations, electrical safety, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
