General Ledger & Accounting:

1. Perform day-to-day GL accounting activities, including accounting entries, scrutiny of ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

2. Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting transactions in line with applicable accounting policies and processes.

3. Review ledger balances and identify unusual or incorrect accounting entries for timely resolution.

Month-End Closing & Reporting:

1. Support and independently manage assigned activities during the month-end closing process.

2. Prepare and post month-end provisions, accruals, and required accounting adjustments.

3. Ensure timely closure of assigned accounts and provide required inputs for financial reporting.

4. Review outstanding items and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for closure within defined timelines.

Reconciliations & Variance Analysis:

1.



Perform periodic account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of open and reconciling items.

2. Conduct variance analysis of assigned accounts and investigate significant movements.

3. Identify trends, exceptions, and discrepancies and highlight them to the reporting manager.

4. Maintain appropriate supporting schedules and documentation for reconciliations and analysis.

Audit & Compliance Support:

1. Provide required schedules, workings, and supporting documents for internal and external audits.

2. Coordinate with auditors and relevant stakeholders for timely closure of audit queries.

3. Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.

4. Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for assigned accounting activities.
