Position: Technical Lead – Solar Pump Installations & Rooftop Solar

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Technical Lead to oversee the installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of solar water pumping systems and rooftop solar PV systems. The candidate will be responsible for leading technical teams, ensuring quality and safety standards, coordinating with vendors and field teams, and ensuring timely completion of projects as per technical specifications and applicable guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the installation and commissioning of solar water pumping systems, including solar PV modules, pumps, controllers, structures, cables, and related components.
- Oversee rooftop solar PV installations, including module mounting structures, DC/AC cabling, inverters, earthing, protection systems, and grid connectivity.
- Review technical drawings, project specifications, BOQs, and installation requirements.




- Conduct site inspections and ensure installations are carried out as per approved designs and technical standards.
- Monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and installation activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, vendors, contractors, DISCOMs, and government departments whenever required.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to solar pumps, inverters, controllers, electrical systems, and rooftop PV systems.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning, documentation, and handover of completed installations.
- Guide and train field engineers, technicians, and installation teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned installations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, earthing, protection, and statutory requirements.
