Position Overview

About the Role
The Senior Manager Legal will lead the organization's core legal operations, contract management, property due diligence, and litigation portfolios. This role focuses heavily on safeguarding the company's commercial interests, ensuring robust real estate and regulatory compliance, and managing legal risks across all business verticals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Affairs & Contract Management
- Draft, review, negotiate, and vet all commercial and real estate legal documents, including Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Joint Venture Agreements (JVs), sale deeds, lease deeds, construction contracts, vendor agreements, MOUs, and NDAs.
- Provide proactive legal advice to internal business teams on commercial transactions, operational risks, and regulatory frameworks.




- Design and implement standard legal documentation processes to streamline business workflows and protect company interests.

2. Litigation & Dispute Management
- Oversee and manage an extensive litigation portfolio across various judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, High Courts, NCLT, RERA & Appellate Tribunals, Consumer Commissions, and Arbitration Tribunals.
- Coordinate independently with external advocates, senior counsels, and legal consultants to prepare case briefs, litigation strategies, affidavits, written statements, and appeals.
- Manage specialized proceedings, including cheque dishonour matters under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, and recovery proceedings.
- Maintain a comprehensive legal case management system to track hearings, court directions, and case closures.
