BYUFUEL is expanding its UCO sourcing network and needs people who can identify potential UCO sources, build strong supplier relationships, and consistently deliver sourcing targets.
This role is at the heart of building a reliable UCO supply network across restaurants, hotels, catering establishments and food manufacturers.
Role & responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential UCO suppliers, including restaurants, hotels, food manufacturers and catering establishments.
- Generate leads and build a strong sourcing pipeline while achieving monthly sourcing targets.
- Conduct client meetings and discovery calls to understand requirements and communicate BYUFUEL's value proposition.
- Manage the sourcing/sales cycle from lead qualification through negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain long-term UCO supply partnerships.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure efficient and timely UCO collection.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and FSSAI/RUCO requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, leads and supplier partnerships.
- Gather market feedback and contribute to improving sourcing and sales strategies.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in sales, business development, lead generation or account management.
- Robust negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Proactive, self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a field-based role.
- Passionate about sustainability and interested in the biofuel/waste-management sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies or a related field preferre
