We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman with 6–7 years of experience in preparing P&ID; (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and related technical drawings. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of drafting tools (preferably Auto CAD) and basic understanding of process systems and instrumentation.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Prepare and revise P&ID; drawings, GA drawings, and layout diagrams as per project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with process engineers and project teams to understand system requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and ensure proper documentation as per internal protocols
- Interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to incorporate any design changes
- Ensure timely submission of drawings for internal and client approvals.
- Participate in internal project meetings & reviews as required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Solid works& 2D drafting is a must.
- Familiarity with P&ID; standards, symbols, and drafting practices.
- Basic knowledge of process equipment, valves, instrumentation, and piping components.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the design team.
