We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting activities and support the organization in financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, and financial statements, along with good analytical and reconciliation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely accounting entries.
- Handle purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and other accounting entries in Tally/Busy.
- Manage GST and TDS-related accounting, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
- Handle import-related accounting entries and Bill of Entry (BOE) reconciliation.
- Maintain and review vendor, customer, payable, and receivable accounts.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and review P&L;, Balance Sheet, MIS reports, and other financial reports.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with the CA, auditors, banks, vendors, and internal teams for accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in monthly/annual closing activities and ensure proper maintenance of accounting records.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial and statutory records.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- Support management with financial information, reports, and accounting analysis as required.
Candidate Profile
- B.Com in Accounting/Taxation or equivalent qualification.
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid practical knowledge of Tally/Busy, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
- Experience in import accounting and BOE reconciliation will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet, AP/AR, and MIS reporting.
