Job Description
We are hiring a Desktop Support Engineer L2 for branded desktop systems. The role is focused on motherboard-level troubleshooting and repair. Candidates with practical experience in desktop motherboard diagnostics and hardware fault identification will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting branded desktop motherboards
- Diagnosing no display, dead board, power issue, restart and short-circuit faults
- Board-level testing using multimeter
- BIOS flashing, BIOS recovery and CMOS troubleshooting
- Soldering and replacement of basic motherboard components
- Identifying faulty ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors and power sections
- Testing motherboard after repair and ensuring proper functionality
- Maintaining repair quality and reporting repair status
- Hardware diagnostics
- Knowledge of power section and display section troubleshooting
- Understanding of desktop hardware components
Eligibility
- 1–3 years experience in desktop motherboard or hardware repair
- Candidates from motherboard repair, desktop service center or hardware repair background preferred
- Freshers with strong practical repair knowledge may also apply
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience with branded desktop motherboards
- Ability to diagnose faults independently
- Hands-on repair experience is mandatory
- Immediate joiners preferred
