Purpose/Objective

The Head – CAD will lead the Contract Administration Department for the Transmission Business, overseeing the complete contract lifecycle for transmission lines, substations, EPC packages, civil works, and associated infrastructure projects.
The role will be responsible for contract governance, commercial risk management, claims and dispute resolution, contract compliance, and value optimization to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities Contract Management & Administration - Lead end-to-end contract administration for transmission and substation projects.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, milestones, deliverables, and commercial terms.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and administer EPC, supply, construction, and service contracts.
- Establish contract governance frameworks and best practices across projects.
- Monitor contract performance and mitigate contractual risks.
Tendering & Pre-Award Support - Review tender documents, BOQs, technical specifications, and commercial conditions.




- Identify contractual and commercial risks during bid evaluation.
- Develop contracting strategies and commercial frameworks.
- Support negotiations and finalization of contract terms with contractors and vendors.
Post-Award Contract Execution - Oversee contract mobilization and execution activities.
- Manage contract amendments, scope changes, variation orders, EOT claims, and cost escalations.
- Drive resolution of contractual disputes, claims, and commercial issues.
- Ensure timely contract closure, final account settlement, and reconciliation.
Commercial & Risk Management - Develop strategies for claim prevention and risk mitigation.
- Lead commercial negotiations and dispute settlements.
- Monitor project commercial performance and contractual exposures.
- Support arbitration, conciliation, and litigation matters when required.
