About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our CA firm. The candidate should have practical experience in accounting work and strong expertise in *passing general accounting entries, maintaining books of accounts, and handling day-to-day accounting activities*.

Key Responsibilities

* Passing and reviewing general accounting entries in Tally.

* Recording sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, etc.

* Maintaining and updating books of accounts

* Bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

* Preparation and checking of debtor/creditor ledgers.

* Maintaining proper supporting documents for accounting entries.

* Assisting in GST, TDS and income-tax related work.

* Assisting in monthly/quarterly accounting and reporting.

* Coordination with clients for accounting-related information and documents.

* Identifying accounting discrepancies and making necessary corrections.

* Supporting the CA team during audit, finalisation and tax compliance work

Required Skills





* Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.

* Excellent command over Tally Prime.

* Positive understanding of debit/credit and ledger treatment.

* Experience in passing general entries independently.

* Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.

* Good Excel skills.

* Ability to handle multiple client accounts.

* Accuracy and attention to detail.

Eligibility

*B.Com candidates will be considered.

* Candidates with CA Firm experience*will be given preference.

* 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

* Candidates who can independently handle day-to-day accounting work will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

A candidate who has worked in a *CA firm* and understands practical accounting rather than only theoretical accounting. The candidate should be comfortable taking accounting data/documents and *independently passing the correct entries in Tally*.
