Job Description: Quality Control (QC) Supervisor Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC Supervisor to oversee and manage quality operations across incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages. The ideal candidate will ensure that products meet all engineering drawings, technical specifications, and ISO 9001 standards while driving continuous improvement to reduce rejection and rework
.Key Responsibilities1. Inspection & Product Release
- In-Process Quality: Conduct regular production line quality inspections. Verify process parameters and ensure adherence to approved product drawings.
- Final Inspection: Perform thorough dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of finished products.
- Testing Execution: Conduct or oversee specialized tests including leakage, vacuum, torque, strength, and other applicable technical evaluations.
- Product Release: Formally release compliant final products for packaging and dispatch.
2. Defect Control & Problem Solving
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate internal rejections, customer complaints,
and line defects using basic QC tools.
- Action Implementation: Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurrence.
- Waste Reduction: Work proactively with production teams to minimise rework percentages and rejection rates.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate Inspection Reports, Rejection Reports, Daily QC Reports, and NCR/CAPA logs.
- Standardisation: Maintain, update, and enforce inspection checklists and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- System Compliance: Ensure all documentation aligns strictly with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.
- Calibration: Manage gauge and instrument calibration records to ensure 100% compliance.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Production Support: Act immediately on quality issues that disrupt production lines to minimise downtime while maintaining quality
