We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Development Engineer to join our Engineering & Product Development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing new sheet-metal components, preparing drawings, coordinating with production and quality teams, and ensuring successful development of products from drawing to final production.

*Key Responsibilities*

Develop new sheet-metal and fabricated components as per customer requirements.

Study customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements.

Prepare and modify 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

Prepare BOM, development documents and technical reports.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and other departments for product development.

Support prototype development and trial production.

Identify design/manufacturing issues and provide suitable technical solutions.

Work on cost reduction, material optimization and process improvement.

Ensure developed components meet required dimensions, quality and specifications.

Support CNC Laser Cutting, bending,



fabrication and welding related development activities.

Coordinate with vendors for development of components, tools, dies and other requirements.

Conduct product inspection and support corrective actions for development-related issues.

Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and development status.

Handle multiple development projects and ensure timely completion.

*Required Skills*

Valuable knowledge of Sheet Metal & Fabrication processes.

Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks.

Understanding of engineering drawings and basic GD&T.;

Knowledge of CNC Laser Cutting, Press Brake Bending and Welding processes will be preferred.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work with Production and Quality teams.

*Preferred Experience*

Candidates having experience in Sheet Metal, Auto C
