Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our automation and controls team. The candidate will be responsible for the development, programming, testing, and support of PLC|HMI|SCADA based control systems for industrial automation projects. You will work closely with engineering, teams to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, etc.) for new and existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug PLC code to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Integrate and program HMIs and SCADA systems.
• Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/VFD/PID/TIC programming
• Solid understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation,
and electrical design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.;
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and propose effective automation solutions.
• Support commissioning, testing, and on-site startup of automated systems.
• Provide training and technical support to maintenance and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Willingness to travel for onsite commissioning and support.
Qualifications:
• Associate's or Bachelors degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, E&TC; Engineering, Automation, or related field.
Experience:
• 5 to 8 years and above of relevant experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
