Purchase Manager

Job Details

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Qualification: BE / ME – Mechanical Engineering

Salary: Open (Depend on Interview Performance)

Preferred Background: Conveyor Manufacturing / Mechanical Material Purchase

Key Responsibilities

· Handle end-to-end procurement activities for mechanical and conveyor-related components.

· Vendor identification, evaluation, and development for mechanical and Conveyor materials.

· Negotiation with suppliers for pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

· Ensure timely procurement aligned with production planning requirements.

· Maintain cost optimization and implement purchase cost reduction strategies.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams.

· Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies.

· Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.





· Coordinate with engineering and project teams for technical purchase requirements.

· Ensure quality standards and delivery commitments are met by vendors.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of mechanical components and conveyor systems.

· Experience in material handling equipment industry preferred.

· Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

· Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.

· Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates must have prior experience in conveyor manufacturing or material handling equipment industry with mechanical purchase exposure.
