10-15 Years in Purchase, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Supply Chain Management (Preferably in Electrical Equipment, Switchgear, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Products)
The person will be responsible for leading the procurement and sourcing function for the Switchgear-6 Division. The role involves developing procurement strategies, ensuring uninterrupted material availability, optimizing costs, managing supplier relationships, improving supply chain efficiency, and driving operational excellence while maintaining quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for switchgear components, fabricated parts, electrical items, sheet metal parts, bought-out components, and raw materials. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve cost reduction and value engineering targets. Drive localization initiatives and alternate source development. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities.
