Key Activities & Expectations:
- Fair understanding of engineering drawing, interpretation of dimensional and geometrical tolerances.
- Should possess sound knowledge of machining process and basic metallurgy.
- Basic knowledge of Induction hardening & tempering processes
- Knowledge of Heat treatment of auto components. Experience in induction hardening process is preferred.
- Process control and trouble shooting
- Knowledge of heat treatment equipment
- Defect analysis and corrective actions
- Inductor - design & drawing release, quote & supplier coordination, PO & manufacturing follow-up, validation (supplier & line),
documentation & handover
- Read and interpret complex 2D engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T;).
- Document inductor life tracking and changeover checklists for the shift team.
- Should ensure compliance with relevant quality standards such as ISO9001, AS9100 & TS16949 and regulatory requirements.

- Inductor Trials and Manufacturing Feasibility for Product Mix
- Inductor Design for New Products Prove-out
- Productivity Improvement with New inductor Trails & Implementation
- Inductor Life Improvement to achieve CPC (Cost Per Component) target
- Process Capability Improvement thru optimization of heat treatment parameters
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of Crank/Cam machining processes (Preferable)
