Role Description
The Head of Laboratory is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Ludhiana, responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations and ensuring high standards of testing quality and safety. This role includes supervising laboratory staff, managing workflow, and monitoring adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. The Head of Laboratory will coordinate test scheduling, validate and authorize reports, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.



The role also involves implementing and reviewing quality management and quality assurance programs, optimizing processes, managing inventory, and collaborating with hospital administration and clinicians to support clinical decision-making. The Head of Laboratory will provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and ethical practice.
