The Technical Lead (Architect) serves as a senior technical authority responsible for the strategic design, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise virtualization and compute infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role that drives the architecture and delivery of hybrid, hyperconverged, and cloud-integrated platforms. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, leading complex modernization initiatives while mentoring Global Server Administration teams and ensuring enterprise-grade scalability, resiliency, and performance across Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V environments.
Detailed Description
- Strategic Architecture: Lead the development of target-state platform architectures, defining standards for Nutanix virtualization, disaster recovery (DR), and high availability (HA).
- Infrastructure Transformation: Architect and execute large-scale migrations,



specifically focusing on transitioning legacy virtualization (VMware) to up-to-date Nutanix HCI ecosystems.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a senior escalation point and primary advisor for complex compute and virtualization challenges. Provide oversight for design reviews, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical governance.
- Operations & Engineering: Define engineering standards and operational best practices. Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell) to shift toward self-healing, "as-code" infrastructure models.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with storage, networking, and application owners to ensure platform capabilities align with business objectives, EMR/EHR dependencies (if applicable), and security compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, articulating technology strategy, risks, trade-offs, and modernization roadma
