Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop 2D electrical layouts and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Create electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, earthing, lightning protection, and low-voltage systems.
- Develop and maintain Revit MEP models for electrical systems in coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, panel schedules, cable schedules, load schedules, and equipment layouts.
- Perform electrical design calculations including load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit, and equipment sizing.
- Develop electrical layouts for lighting, small power, containment, cable trays, conduits, and equipment connections.
- Prepare 2D CAD drawings, detailed plans, sections, elevations,



and construction/shop drawings.
- Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and architectural teams.
- Review and incorporate design changes, consultant/client comments, and site requirements.
- Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, equipment schedules, and technical documentation.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure drawings/models comply with project specifications and applicable codes.
- Support site teams during installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain proper drawing/model revision control and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
