Role & responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other sales channels.
- Contact prospective customers and understand their requirements, needs, and budget.
- Present and explain products/services to potential and existing customers.
- Conduct sales meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations when required.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Follow up with leads, enquiries, quotations, and proposals to convert prospects into customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and other required sales documents.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with customers within company guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, marketing, finance, and customer support to ensure smooth order execution.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM or other company systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities,



and customer requirements.
- Generate regular sales reports and provide updates on sales performance to management.
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in exhibitions, events, client meetings, and other business development activities.

Preferred candidate profile
- Candidates with field sales experience will be preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers and handle client interactions.
- Knowledge of the local/regional language is preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable with field visits and outdoor sales activities.
- Candidates with a target-oriented and positive attitude are preferred.
- Freshers with valuable communication skills and a willingness to work in field sales may also apply.
