Role Summary

We're hiring a Head of AI to own AI adoption end-to-end: strategy, safe usage, training, tooling, and hands-on automation. This is a rare hybrid role for someone who understands US accounting and tax workflows
*and*
modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT), IT security, and no-code automation. You'll drive internal adoption, set secure-usage standards, and translate what leading US CPA firms are doing into practical use cases for our clients.

This is a builder-operator role part strategist, part trainer, part automation engineer.

What You'll Own

AI strategy & adoption
- Define and drive Credfino's AI adoption roadmap across internal teams
- Identify high-value use cases surfaced by internal teams (tax prep, bookkeeping, reconciliations, review, client comms) and prioritize them by impact




- Study external use cases from US CPA firms and the broader market; assess what applies to Credfino and our clients' processes
- Raise measurable AI/tech adoption across the organization
- Continuously test and monitor for new AI tools in US accounting and tax and create awareness, help pick the tools that are most important for training the staff and team members

Safe & compliant usage
- Build and maintain AI usage guidelines for the firm (what's allowed, what isn't, data handling rules)
- Ensure no customer/PII or client financial data is exposed to public AI tools; define approved tools, data boundaries, and review processes
- Partner with IT and security on tooling, access controls, and vendor/data-privacy considerations (SOC 2, GLBA, IRS Pub 4557)

Training & enablement
- Run ongoing AI training for staff: general use cases, prompting, using Claude/ChatGPT effectively, building agents, and tool workflows
- Create a rolling monthly train
